Well, Roger, you could go by the official infos. I.e., both 1229 brochures, that one can find over on Lulabu's archive, contain the same graph and text (see there: https://www.hifi-archiv.info/Dual/1229p/dual1229p-09.jpg and there: https://www.hifi-archiv.info/Dual/1229p/dual1229p-21.jpg), claiming a resonance frequency of 9.5 Hz in combination with a 5.5 g cartridge (probably Dual click-in mount variant, so no additional mounting hardware to consider...) with a compliance of 25 cu. So one could use these numbers to calculate the effective arm mass via the usual resonance formula. However, if one does that, one arrives at an effective arm mass of a tad over 5.7 g or respectively a tad below 6.3 g (considering that quite likely only ~ 90 % of the mass of the cartridge will contribute to the total effective mass) - and to me both results would appear a bit too low to really seem realistic.
