thanks gentlemen, have the unit since this evening
Aha a fixed bias, i did not see the schematics yet
Like always i should read the blody manual first
At least they get rid of two trimmers, so the units sell cheaper

Hi
Howmuch is the ruhestrom for cv1400 finals
Were are the measuring points located
Thanks carlos -
thanks alois
now still on the hum (brummt)
i measured the cartridge via the rca connectors
one channel is ok 1.3 kohm
one channel infinity
this is with the two earth wires stranded together from the rca cable
with the two earth wires from the rca cable separated the two channels are ok measuring 1.3 kohm
also extra earth wiring from chassis to preamp chassis (tubeamp) give me huge improvement but not hum free
this is very strange for my other two tables 701/721 are dead quit with the two earth wires rca cable twisted together and,
connected together to the unit were also the mute swith is connected ( were rca cables are connected with tone arm cabling
further no shorts detected in cabling tone arm

hallo kurt
very nice info
now for even better understanding, on the point were the tonearm cabling and rca cable output are connected,
there is also a switch with two legs parked on the kurvenrad
when the kurvenrad is working the switch is opened or closed, im not sure wat it should be because i see a problem there with the legs
i wil check that of course with multi meter but is always nice to have info how its working
picture is switch on kurvenrad -
hallo
the audio signal from the headshell via tonarm cabling is activated by a switch driven by the yellow program disk, is this korrekt?
carlos -
i wil check the arm headshell kontakts kurt
headshell is ok also on other turntable

Oli62 pink silicone pimpels
is there a website for this pimpels
just curious
carlos -
yes peter i fully agree with your remarks there,
i check the two types of pimpels i have under the microscope two see the differences
it also could be the material of witch they made to improve more grip
anyway the revisound transparant pimple does his job perfect
question: can the tonearm height be adjusted of the 701
i think the 721 has that option.......
player is out of the plint and playing super for the moment
happy eastern

solved!
another type of pimpel did the trick(revisound)
working like a charm -
hallo
just replaced steuerpimpel (commercial type from internet)
its working but arm wil not come back when hit the stop, it lifts en go down again and plays the record further
maybe the pimpel does not his job properly
when hitting stop arm should move to its resting point
any tips welcome -

to soon is better

written ero 0.01/1000 and 250v is 10nf what is 1000 mean
substitute .........for tis condensator?
there should be also a glimlamp or neon lamp on the power suply board, not present now ,wat should be the value and type
carlos -
hallo,
another problem
in the 701 headshell is a ortofon m20 mounted in a plastic cassette mounted on the headshell
i mostv remove this in order to use an ortofon blue with bolts
how is this assembly removed in order to avoid destruction of the headshell
